What is Amazon Bedrock?

Amazon Bedrock is AWS's fully managed service for accessing foundation models from Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, Amazon, and others. It includes Bedrock Agents for building multi-step AI workflows and Knowledge Bases for RAG — all within the AWS security perimeter.

Our Review

Amazon Bedrock makes a lot of sense for teams already running infrastructure on AWS. The ability to switch between Claude, Llama, and Mistral with one API change is genuinely useful. The Bedrock Agents orchestration is less flexible than LangChain but requires much less setup for standard patterns.

Key Features

  • Enterprise AI on AWS infrastructure
  • Multi-model LLM applications
  • Managed RAG pipelines
  • Regulated industry compliance needs
